Premium Tile Grout
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
CHEMFIX 901 Premium Tile Grout is a factory blended, cement-based grout modified with polymers and performance additives. It is formulated to produce smooth, durable, water-resistant joints for ceramic, porcelain, mosaic and natural stone tiles where compatible.
Uses
Grouting wall and floor tiles in residential, commercial and light-duty applications.
Suitable for internal and external areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, balconies and general wet areas.
For joint widths from 2 mm to 8 mm. For wider joints, site trial is recommended.
Can be used with ceramic, porcelain, glass mosaic and selected natural stones after compatibility testing.
• High bond and abrasion resistance compared with ordinary cement grout.
• Reduced water absorption and improved stain resistance.
• Smooth finish with good workability and easy cleaning.
• Low shrinkage, good joint filling and colour consistency.

Add approximately 2.8 – 3.2 litres of clean water for each 10 kg bag. Water demand may vary slightly depending on colour, temperature and site conditions. Do not add excess water as it can reduce strength and colour uniformity.
• Ensure tile adhesive is fully cured before grouting. Joints must be clean, dry and free from dust, spacers, oil and loose material.
• Mix powder into clean water using a slow-speed mixer until a smooth, lump-free paste is obtained. Allow to stand for 3 minutes, then remix briefly.
• Apply diagonally across the joints using a rubber grout float, pressing firmly to fill the joints completely.
• Remove excess grout from the tile surface while fresh. When the grout begins to firm, clean with a damp sponge using minimum water.
• Final cleaning can be carried out with a dry cloth after surface haze appears. Protect from direct sun, rain and heavy traffic during early curing.
• Do not apply below +5°C or above +40°C.
• Do not use on movement joints; use a suitable flexible sealant.
• Highly porous tiles, polished stone or textured tiles may require pre-sealing and trial application.
• Do not add cement, sand, pigments or other materials at site.
• Actual shade may vary slightly due to water ratio, cleaning method and curing conditions.
Coverage depends on tile size, joint width and joint depth. Approximate consumption can be calculated using:
Consumption (kg/m²) = [(Tile L + Tile W) / (Tile L × Tile W)] × Joint Width × Joint Depth × 1.8
All dimensions should be in mm. The value 1.8 is an approximate density factor.
• Available in 10 kg moisture-resistant bags. Other packing sizes can be supplied on request.
• Store in unopened original bags in a dry, shaded and ventilated area, away from moisture.
• Shelf life: 12 months from production date when stored correctly.
